Christine Hayes died October 6th at the age of 27.  She was one of the best friends my daughters Courtney and Lauren have ever had.  Alan and I considered her a part of our family and she was always welcome in our home.  She was one of those "special" people; the type that you  become friends with instantly.  She embraced life with an enthusiasm that was contagious.  She was sparkling, fresh and lovely, beautiful on the inside and out.  Funny too; you couldn't help but laugh when she was around.  She was a gifted photographer and writer who looked at the world with the wonder and curiosity of a child.  She loved the ocean, and the beach.  Hawaii was her favorite place in the world.  She loved travel, music, and her friends.  It was impossible not to love her.  I think we are all better people for having known her and will  miss her terrribly.

"So brown eyes, I hold you near cause you're the only song I want to hear   A melody softly soaring through my atmosphere, softly soaring through my atmosphere."
